Attorney At Law
Darin Higgs is a native of Southern Indiana, where he was raised, and he is a proud graduate of Indiana University, having completed his studies there in 2005. Following this achievement, Darin furthered his education by attending the University of Toledo School of Law, where he pursued his legal degree and graduated in 2009.
Since then, Darin has consistently maintained his legal practice in the states of Indiana, starting in 2009, and in Kentucky, where he expanded his practice in 2013. In addition to holding qualifications in these states, Darin is also authorized to represent clients in the federal court system, specifically within the regions of Western Kentucky, Middle District Tennessee, Northern Indiana, and Southern Indiana. Darin began his legal career focused primarily on debt collection and landlord-tenant matters. Over time, he successfully transitioned to a broader range of practices including bankruptcy, family law, and criminal defense, mainly to serve the needs of his private clients. Most recently, Darin provided criminal defense services with the Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy.
When not in the office attending to his legal responsibilities, Mr. Higgs truly enjoys spending quality time with his beloved wife and children. He spends the majority of his free time at the soccer and baseball fields, supporting his kids and engaging in their various activities. Additionally, he takes on the role of a soccer referee during his spare moments, which allows him to contribute to the local sports community while staying active himself.
